Their generous support allows us to offer free activities, ensuring the event is fun and family-friendly for everyone. A big shoutout also goes to Dungog Rotary, who have gone above and beyond by designing the street closure plan and managing traffic control on the day. Their efforts are invaluable, and we’re incredibly grateful for their help.
Street Closure Details: To ensure a smooth and safe event, the street closure will take place from 3 PM to 7 PM. This will help clear parked vehicles from the main street ahead of the festivities. Last year, we faced challenges with vehicles still parked after the closure, so we’re hopeful this adjustment will make a difference.
Event Theme: This year, we’re celebrating Christmas Aussie Style! Think bright shirts, shorts, dresses, and thongs—perfect for a warm afternoon.
Activities for event continue to come together with - Dungog schools joining us and performing in street – Free Jumping Castle – James Theatre screening free movie to be advised- Entertainer Victoria Gee generously providing stage for performances – Performing Arts Dungog musicians - Line dancing group performing and encouraging participation in dancing. Plus the various businesses participating will have instore activities and promotions. We also look forward to the evening venues continuing things into the night with food and entertainment. More details and activities will be added as event comes together.
