Our next networking event coming up on 15 October has a different format to what we normally do. This time there will be presentations from all the local Community Builders groups at the Doug Walters Pavilion, Mackay Street, Dungog, then afterwards we will go over to the Dungog Memorial RSL for dinner.
The presentations will start at 6:00pm, Thursday 15 October. We plan to have each of the local groups (Dungog, Clarence Town, Paterson, Vacy and Gresford, as well as the Stoud group) tell us what they have achieved so far, what their ongoing plans are, and the challenges they have faced. Jim Doyle will give us an overview of the overall It Takes a Community scheme. This is an opportunity to hear what is happening around the region, foster collaboration between groups, and learn how the community can be involved. Following the presentations you are invited to join us for dinner at the Dungog RSL Club. An opportunity for some networking in a social space.
