Member of the Month – The Felt Stitch Dye Garden

One of our newest members, the Felt Stitch Dye Garden is a place to find fascinating texture, colour and pattern.

To paraphrase William Morris, they like to “Have nothing in (their garden) that is not know to be useful, or believed to be beautiful.”

In their ever changing range of hand made goods you will find practicalities like pincushions, bags and clothing and irresistible whimsy like felted and stitched river stones or sleepy bushbabies inspired by May Gibbs. Between these are brooches adorned with native Australian birds and flora, riotous colours in shibori dyed scarves, eco-dyed many-things and patches of pure light to pin to your chest.

Located at 70 Hooke Street, Dungog you would surely enjoy a stroll through the garden….you don’t know what you might find!

To view some of their products search the Felt Stitch Dye Garden on Facebook.
