Following the success of last year’s competition, we are proud to announce together with our Sponsor, the Dungog Chronicle, the 2014 Dungog District Christmas Business Decoration Competition. Yes it’s time to take up the challenge and dust off those baubles, untangle those fairy lights and decorate your business window, inside your business’s, car, property or even your staff for your change to win.
All businesses are invited to take up the challenge and put together their own Christmas display. The invitation goes to retail businesses with a street frontage, as well as tradies, professional services, farmers, manufacturers and home based businesses. Anyone in business is welcome to enter.
As well as promoting local businesses to both locals and visitors to Dungog Shire, there are great prizes to be won and THERE IS NO ENTRY FEE. The prizes are designed to not only offer a reward to you and your staff for getting on board but offer an incentive for customers and clients to visit, judge your efforts and in turn win a prize for voting.
- Judges’ Pick: $500 Dungog Dollar voucher to be spent at any participating business
- People’s Choice: $250 Dungog Dollar voucher to be spent at any participating business
- Voters’ Draw: $100 Dungog Dollar voucher to be spent at any participating business
The competition also gives participating businesses free advertising in the Dungog Chronicle and on social media.
To be eligible for competition prizes you will need register by completing the entry form and returning it by 28 November, 2014. Entry forms can also be downloaded from HERE.
Entries should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org or returned to Jennifer Lewis at 254 Dowling Street, Dungog 2420.
You can start decorating whenever you like but remember to register by returning the entry form by the 28 November to be eligible for the prizes. Voting forms for participating businesses will be distributed when you register as a participating business.
